introverted nipples + piercings?

So I'm considering getting my nipples pierced before the summers end. Mostly because I have inverted nipples (not severely, they're weird, sometimes they stay out for hours at a time, and other times they're inverted all day, or ones in and ones out lol I hate it) anyways, I heard getting them pierced is a good way to keep my nipples out for good and that the only other alternative to fixing inverted nipples is surgery. Anyone here have inverted nipples and then got them pierced? Did it help? Did it work? What did you tell your piercer?

I work In plastic surgery and when we do surgery for inverted nipples, we pretty much just pierce them, along with doing a little bit of work to free up any scar tissue or tissue keeping the nipple inverted underneath. Just be aware if you go with the piercing route to be careful of who you go to, nipples can easily get infected if not done correctly.

I didn't have the problem that you're speaking off, but I personally would suggest not getting it done. I had mine done a few years ago, not only was it excruciating pain (worst pain I've ever felt) but it caused me all sorts of hassle. They take forever to heal and every time I would have sex I wouldn't let my partner near that boob. I would keep my bra on 99% of the time because I was terrified it would rip out and it was tender for ages (I had it about a year) I eventually gave up and took it! I loved the way it looked but felt like there was no point to it. The way your nipples look doesn't matter... trust me when you're with that right person they won't care how your nipples look either :)
