So after my OBGYN left, i got stuck with the only other OBGYN at the hospital near us (we live in the middle of nowhere and it's 35 miles to the nearest town). I figured I'd give him a try...cant hurt anything, right?....not so much.

My first appt he tells me I'm overweight (I could stand to loose a few pounds (10-15), but who couldn't!) here are some prescription diet pills. And apparently after 3 yrs of trying to get pregnant, taking 6+ vitamins and supplements a day and losing weight and all my problems will be solved. And THEN he tells me that he doesn't really know much about the fertility side of Gynecology, but he can deliver a baby if I ever get pregnant! (That is seriously word for word out of the doctors mouth...gives you a lot of confidence in him, yeah?) And that I'd be better off looking for a fertility specialist.

So ok..clealry not going to be using this fantastic doctor...so I find a OBGYN that specializes in fertility and get on the 3 month waiting list to see him.

Appointment finally comes around, and now I'm being told that that my insurance will cover none of it because that freaking jackass doctor put down in my records a diagnosis of infertility. Apparently my $1300 a month health insurance, will only cover up to a diagnosis of infertility and nothing after...no 2nd opinion, no 2nd testing...nothing...

I could just strangle that damn doctor....
