Losing My Virginity?? Help!

Question

So I'm ready to lose my virginity to my boyfriend and I'm nervous (the good kind though). My school doesn't teach sex ed at all so I have to go off what i can learn off the internet, but I'd really prefer to hear from the <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android.eve">Eve</a> community. It just feels more comfortable.

First off, is there any way to prevent it from hurting? If I'm not wet enough, would lube be the best method? If so, does it have to be a specific kind?

Also, if I'm on birth control and I know he's clean because I asked him to get tested, do we have to use a condom? Or is it better to use both as contraceptives?

Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.💖

Here are some things that may help: 
1. You may bleed or feel pain during your first time, you also may not experience that (it's normal either way) 
2. Water based lube can help ease any discomfort of penetration. 
3. Always pee after sex, this prevents UTI's. 
4. use condoms!! Regardless of the situation or how you feel about them, they are very important. They prevent most STD's and of course pregnancy. 
5. Never use oil based lubricant on condoms, that will ruin them. 
6. Never store condoms where they can be poked by anything or left in extreme temperatures. 
7. Never use flavored condoms for penetration, this can cause yeast infections. 
8. It's totally normal if you can't achieve orgasm from penetration alone! Almost all women need clitoral stimulation during penetration or all by itself to have a orgasm! So don't worry.

It's going to hurt a little but not that much where your in excruciating pain I promise ! You may bleed, or not.. which is totally normal ! So don't worry about that. With my first time I didn't use any lube at all but it is optional if you feel like it would help. Also I suggest you do use condoms ! Even though he is clean and you might be on birth control.. if you're not ready to have a baby I suggest to use condoms ! Good luck and have fun ;) !

There are many many more topics, but ill focus on these two. 
Sexual Behavior:
Abstinence is the only 100% effected method for avoiding unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections. Abstinence is simply deciding not to engage in sexual activity until you are older. Some people decide to wait until marriage to have sex, whereas others do not, both decisions are totally normal. People choose to abstain for a multitude of reasons, from religious believes, personal beliefs, health and simply because they aren’t ready yet :) 
We has humans are sexual beings, and that sexuality evolves as we grow older. There are 5 different stages in sexuality: Sexuality in infants and toddlers, Sexuality in children ages 3 to 7, Sexuality in preadolescent youth (8-12), Sexuality in adolescent youth (13-19) and finally Adult Sexuality. 
-In the first stage, children become aware of their own gender and the differences in the genitals of males and females.
-In the second stage, young children become increasingly interested and curious in sexual behaviors, such as hugging, holding hands, etc. They may, in fact, try imitating adult sexual behaviors by holding hands, kissing talking about marriages, living with a person they love when they get older and hugging. They may also try to look at other children’s genitals and show them theirs. This is all completely normal. 
-Sexuality in preadolescent youth (ages 8-12) is the third stage and is also known as puberty. During this stage the body begins to mature. Girls grow breast buds and pubic hair, while boys experience increased development of the penis and testicles. Children at this age also become more self-conscious about their bodies and may feel uncomfortable undressing in front of others. In addition, masturbation begins/increases at the age. At this age, many children have heard of sexual intercourse, however have not experienced it and become increasingly curious. Although, the idea of having sexual intercourse is still unpleasant to most preadolescent boys and girls. By the ages of 12/13 some adolescents may begin dating or kissing. 
-During the 4th stage, (13-19) interest in sexual relationships, sexual intercourse and romantic relationships increase. They begin to experience strong emotional attachments and express their feelings in relationships. Every adolescents behavior is different however the majority of adolescents explore relationships, fall in/out of love and participate in sexual intercourse before the age of 20. 
-The final stage is Adult Sexuality. During this stage sexual behaviors become extremely varied. However in most cases sex remains part of an adults life until death. At around age 50, women experience menopause (in which their ovaries no longer release eggs and their bodies no longer produce estrogen). In addition, the vaginal walls become thinner, intercourse may become painful as there is less natural lubrication, and the vagina becomes smaller. Men also experience some changes. The testicles slow testosterone production after about the age of 25. erections may become more difficult once testosterone slows, and the amount of semen that is related during ejaculation decreases. However, men are still capable of fathering children their entire lives, unlike women. 
Sexual Health:
There are many types of contraceptives out there including: the Pill, the Male Condom, the Female Condom, the Diaphragm, the cervical cap (Femcap), the IUD, the Contraceptive implant, the contraceptive sponge, spermicide, contraceptive injections, the vaginal ring, the contraceptive patch, emergency contraceptives, sterilization, and natural family planning. The majority of these contraceptives work by at least one of the following ways: 1. preventing an egg from being released every month. 2. preventing sperms from reaching the egg. 3. blocking the reproductive function, in either men or women. 4. by preventing a fertilized egg from implanting the uterus. I will not explain how every contraceptive works, but I will list the most popular, in order popularity: the Pill, the male condom, the IUD, the contraceptive injection, male sterilization, fertility based awareness, vaginal ring and the contraceptive implant. 
Pregnancy occurs when a fertilized egg implants the lining of the uterus and it all starts with sperm cells and an egg. Sperm are microscopic cells that are made in the testicles. Sperm mixes with other fluids to make semen which comes out of the penis during ejaculation. Billions of sperm come out every time a man ejaculates, but only 1 sperm is needed for fertilization. Eggs live in the ovaries which secretes hormones that control your menstrual cycle and causes a few eggs to mature every month. When an egg is mature it is ready to be fertilized by a sperm cell. During ovulation (which occurs about half way through your menstrual cycle), a mature egg leaves the ovary and travels through the fallopian tube towards the uterus. This is when fertilization can occur (IF there is any semen in the vagina). If semen gets in the vagina, the sperm cells will swim up into the cervix and uterus and into the fallopian tubes where they have 6 days to find an egg before they die. Fertilization is when a sperm cell joins an egg. Once this occurs, the fertilized egg will move down the fallopian tube towards the uterus and begin to divide into more and more cells, forming a ball (called a blastocyst). When the ball attaches to the lining of your uterus it is called implantation and is the beginning of pregnancy. The processes leading up to implantation take several days. Symptoms of pregnancy include: missed period, swollen or tender breasts, nausea and/or vomiting, fatigue, bloating, constipation and peeing more than usual. However, these early pregnancy symptoms can also feel like PMS, so if you ever have a doubt, take a test. 
There are many reasons as to why someone may want to have an abortion. Some are not ready to be parents, others have health complications etc. (I’m not trying to start a debate on pro-life/pro-choice, I am just here to inform you :) ) There are also many alternatives to abortion such as adoption. There are two types of abortions: In-clinic abortion, and medication abortion. In-clinic abortion is when a doctor or other health care provider uses suction to remove the pregnancy from the uterus. It is over 99% effective and usually takes about 10 minutes. A medication abortion is when you take pills that terminate and expel your pregnancy from the uterus (kind of like a miscarriage). Depending how far along you are, it is effective 93-98% of the time, and takes about 24 hours after the second pill is consumed. 
STDs are infections that are passed from one person to another during, vaginal, anal and oral sex. They are extremely common and the majority of people who have them do not show any symptoms. The condom is the only way to prevent the transmission of STDs. So while you may be on a different form of birth control that will protect you against pregnancy, you may want to double up with the condom to prevent STDs. To find out whether or not you have an STD, you can go to your gynecologist or any womens health clinic and get tested. It is easy and painless. Examples of STDs include: chlamydia, genital warts, gonorrhea, herpes, HPV, Hepatitis B and HIV. If you learn that you have an STD you can go to your gynecologist or to any womens health clinic (PlannedParenthood for instance) and they will treat you.

Lube or extensive foreplay, I would say it's best to use a condom but since he's clean and you're on birth control, pulling out might be fine. If you're really nervous, use a condom. The lube should be water based because oil might break down a condom. Pee afterwords to avoid a uti. Ask anything else please, it's good to cover anything you might not know
