Breastfeeding & period

Anyone else exclusively breastfeed and got their period right away? My daughter is almost three months old and I'm on my second period already! Did your baby fuss more at the breast, and also notice your supply drop a bit too? I'm thinking it's because she uses a pacifier, is the reason that I started my period so soon. Also what kinds of birth control do you use? We've just been using condoms.
