TMI When does the bad smell of pp blood and then clear discharge go away!?!

I'm 8 weeks postpartum. My bleeding has stopped but I still have the same bad smell omg it's making me so annoyed. It's not super strong but if I smell the discharge directly it smells baaaad...when will this go away or is it not normal??

I used summers eve wash a few times and it cleared up the smell

I had smelly yellow discharge forever it seemed and it made me crazy! It finally went away after like 10 weeks. I asked my midwife about it at my 6 week appointment and she said it's normal. 🙄

Mine was sort of a medical smell to me. I really didn't like it. No one else seemed to notice it but me. I was very happy when it disappeared.

A bad smell isn't normal and can be a sign of infection. If you didn't discuss it at your 6w pp, schedule another appointment with your ob.
