do you shower at gym or wait til you get home?

At the gym right after your work out? Or wait til you get home??
For those who do take showers at the gym : 
-what do you pack ingym bag
-flip flops in shower?
- is it awkward? Lol
- do you really stay to dry your hair and all that?

If I'm working out before work, I shower at the gym. I definitely use flip flops and bring my own towel. I have short hair and don't wear much makeup, so only takes me about 15 min to get ready (including shower).

Home because I like to relax and pamper lol also I have a sort of extensive skincare routine and doing that at a gym is just not an option for me

When I was in college I spent all my free time at the gym. Whether I showered there or at home depended on two three things: 
1. Am I crunched for time? 
2. Is it cold outside? 
3. Did I swim as either my main workout or my post-workout cool down?

If I was crunched for time or it was cold out, I showered at the gym and let my hair air dry. If I swam and it was warm out (99% of the time in Texas) I would just change into dry clothes and be on my way unless I was pressed for time and needed to shower there. I don't think I ever blew my hair dry at the gym. I may have done make up once or twice. I always had fresh clothes,workout clothes, socks, running shoes, flip flops for the pool/shower, a swimsuit and pool workout gear in my bag. I also ha a locker to keep some of that stuff in for the season.

I've only done it when I absolutely had too! Like when I worked out before work or a church event and didn't have time to run home. It wasn't terrible at planet fitness but wear flip flops or rubber water shoes

I usually wait until I get home, but on the odd occasion that I do shower at the gym, flip flops are a MUST. I have travel versions of everything and even a small makeup bag I bring. I even have a travel hair dryer lol. I usually don't bother with the makeup or styling my hair, but it's in my gym bag just in case.
