Quit antidepressant before conceiving?

Recently starting TTC. Should I ween myself off of sertraline or is it safe to use during pregnancy? I take 100 mg. Has anyone had healthy babies while taking this (or Zoloft)?

Talk to your doctor! They will know what is best for you and your future child. I am working with my doctor on getting my medications lines up so I can start TTC next month!

I was taking Zoloft for 2 years before getting pregnant. When I started TTC I weened off. I was completely off it by feb. got pregnant in April. Had a nervous breakdown in July. Went back on and took it for the rest of my pregnancy without an issue. My son was born happy and healthy and I was happy and healthy. He turned 6 months old today. I still take 200mg a day. He's breastfed so he never went through withdrawals or had side effects. Talk to your doctor but a baby born to a depressed mother has more issues than a baby born to a mother who is taking antidepressants. If i have another baby I will not stop taking my Zoloft. No way.
