What do you do if you have a psycho mom that won't let you get on birth control because she's afraid you'll go buck wild with guys but you want it to regulate your period and help get rid of extreme cramps?🤔🙃

I'm so sorry this is happening to you but honestly, you can talk to your dr or clinic like planned parenthood about your cramps and period issues and they will give you birth control pills whether your mother wants them to or not because it's going to treat your medical issues aside from the fact that it also prevents pregnancy. One of my old friends parents thought the same thing about her (thinking she'd just try to go buck wild) until her cramps got so bad she passed out on the top of a staircase at school and fell down the whole flight and ended up in the hospital and got a prescription for birth control pills without her parents consent because it isnt illegal.

I'm going through a similar situation. I'm 17, and my mother doesn't want me on birth control because of the side effects (or so she tells me). I actually want it to regulate my periods and for its original intended use.
I would suggest looking into the birth control laws for your state and visiting a local clinic and talking to a doctor there.

My sons girlfriend is going through this. She just turned 18, and has horrible periods. When she was 17 I even talked to her mom and the response was birth control says sex is okay.
Well. It is. Duh. 
Now thats shes 18, she can go on her own but since they are paying for school shes scared of them finding out. 
She and her 20 yr old  sister have never been to a gyno or anything. 
Yes, above the age of maturity, but completely dependent on what her parents think instead of what her female body may need.

Bring her to your dr appointment with you. If the dr suggests it she might be more open to the idea. Also local clinics like planned parenthood are good too if she won't agree to come with you to see a doctor. Just bring your insurance card and they should take care of it all the same day

If you're younger than 16, I get where she's coming from. But I guess if you're gonna go buck wild you're going to do it regardless of birth control. Trygoing to a free clinic to see what they suggest. Or just tell your mom you want to go to the doctor for a check up or make up something is hurting and when you go see your regular doctor don't bring mom in the room, tell them what's going on with cramps, then have the doc suggest it to your mom for the cramp reasons. It'll be hard for her to say no to the doctor because if she says "I think she's just using it for sex" or "I don't think you really have cramps" the doc will have some comeback. Good luck!
