Hey Eve members. I'm approaching my period and I get very emotional around this time. I've been irritated for no real reason all day, so I think I just need someone to calm me down and talk some sense in to me.

My boyfriend and I have been together for 4 and 1/2 months and it's been the best time of my life. He's the perfect gentleman, he's caring and thoughtful, and our senses of humor go along wonderfully. We can tell each other anything and everything. We've become best friends and lovers.

At the end of august, we'll be moving to college. He's going to a university that's only 20 minutes from where I live currently, and I'm moving 400 miles north to my university. We've already agreed to keep our relationship going. Long distance is scary for me and I've never done it before. But I love him and as scary as it is, I also believe he's worth it.

Right now, I'm the one that drives us everywhere. He lives by the beach (about 25 minutes away from me). He only recently got his license but he doesn't drive. His parents are getting him a car in a couple of weeks. For all the time we've been together, I've been the one driving every time. I don't even have my own car, I borrow my mom's or dad's. My parents can't afford a car for me. My boyfriend will use Lyft or Uber sometimes to meet me some place. I don't mind driving him at all, but I'm getting tired of being the one who drives all over town for him. He has his license now but he hates driving. I told him that this was bothering me a couple days ago and he was chill about it. He said that I had a right to be annoyed and that he would practice driving with his dad every day until he felt ready. It's July and he got his license in May, but something is better than nothing I suppose.

THE POINT OF MY POST IS that we've been talking about how much we'll be able to see each other during the school year. Since we're both going to Cal State's, we have very similar breaks and days off. When I come home to visit my family, he'll be close by. Even closer than his parents house. So there will be no problem with me coming to see him. HOWEVER! He just told me today that the possibility of him being able to come visit me at school is "highly unlikely". And it kinda pissed me off. He's the one that's going to have a car of his own. I understand he really wants to focus on doing well in college, and so do I, but there will be possibilities of us seeing each other for a weekend hear and there. We'll be 1 hour apart by plane!!! I don't know if he'll even drive to meet me halfway someplace and we could stay in a hotel overnight. I'm not gonna have a car at school and yet I already have my flights scheduled to come home for thanksgiving. I have my own money I can set aside for the cost of a bus or train ticket, or a taxi/Uber, to get me to the nearest airport and money for a ticket. But am I gonna have to do that every time I see him from then on??? He's going to have a car! It's a 6 hour car ride, sure, but I've done that drive a million times. He's just gonna wait for me to come to him? My parents cannot afford me flying to see my boyfriend every month. I thought that me and my boyfriend planning to see each other once a month or so, and alternating who we meet up closer to, was a good and fair idea. But apparently my boyfriend would rather wait 3 months to see me than get off his ass and make some sort of effort.

am I just being a bitch or would this bother you as well??? I need some long distance advice please :(
