Copper paragaurd

I can't seem to figure this out I want to try the paragaurd but I'm scared I'm 19 haven't had any kids and last time I was on birth control it was a disappointment I was on the depo shot and that's why I decided to go for a non hormone option pointers experiences advice encouragements anything helps 😩😩
