birth control??

Question

what's the best birth control that works well? should I still use a condom while on birth control?

Answer

I think it's really up to you with what you would be comfortable using. 
I personally declined using the implant, IUD, and Depo shot, all because of the possible side effects. 
I've been on the pill now for about 8 years, though I've taken like 5 different brands, I've been on my current Alyacen 1/35 now for about 5 years. It doesn't give me any of the serious side effects, just the occasional breakthrough bleed. But the pill works different with each woman, so I would suggest trying things out for your own body.

As for the condoms, I used condoms with any new partner I was ever with, until our relationship evolved into something I was able to trust. I only used them to protect against STD's. My pill is super effective though. I got pregnant when my ex and I were trying to get pregnant, so I stopped taking the pill and ended up pregnant 3 months later. That sadly ended with a miscarriage.

So overall, I think you might try out your options!
