Missing pills

Okay so I haven't been having sex lately ( cuz I'm away from my husband he's in another country so there is a time difference ) I was taking it at 5:30 and I should have changed it and taken them at 3:30 when I came back and but I didn't change the time . So I'm taking them 2 hours later than I'm supposed to and also I missed a couple days ( like 2 ) and I got my period in the middle of my cycle I still had 2 weeks for my placebo pills .

I kept taking them more strict is that okay ? Or do the hormones not work cuz now I'm on my placebo days and I haven't got my period ?
