My first BFP turned into my period 2 days later...

My husband and I have been ttc for a little over 2 years now. Never have we ever gotten 2 lines on a pregnancy test. That changed about 3 days ago. My period was due Friday and it was Monday night so I decided to go ahead and test (this is our 3rd cycle on Clomid). I took the test, not expecting anything, but then the second line appeared! It was faint but there! I refused to believe it so I took another test (different brand) on the next morning. A super faint line appeared. So faint that I had to tell my husband to keep looking at it so he could finally see it. At around 4 am the next morning I woke up to horrible back cramps (I never have cramps in my back), my pelvic floor felt heavy, and I started bleeding. It has been a horrible 'period', severe cramps, tons of clots, and just bright red blood. Obviously I know I'm not pregnant now, but was I ever? Did those two tests lie and this is just a bad visit from af? I hate not knowing! --side note, I have an appt with my obgyn in less than a week, I just wanted some feedback ❤
