Ugh 😑 venting kinda

Well today isn't a good day, I got a call from my mom, saying my niece has been getting beat by her mom's boyfriend and cps is involved. My step brother(her dad) doesn't have any custody of her because her mom said he lived with her and the court papers got sent there so he didn't show up to court, but he gets her a lot because her mom can't handle her(he also pays child support). Cps called my step brother saying his daughter has been beating, and maybe he should pick her up well they do the investigation and has to do that before pulling her out of the house. With this happening do you think my step brother would get custody of his daughter? She has marks and bruises all over her little body(she's 3), a huge lump on her forehead, I went to go see her this morning and I'm 12weeks pregnant so my emotions are high and cried and she told me to stop, she's okay at nana and papa's house with daddy. She's very smart little girl. I wish I could help more tho.
