So.. I just went into the supermarket to buy a first response early result preg test. For some reason it made me feel super awkward. I felt like how I did the first time I bought tampons by myself. I'm a 26 year old adult so I have no idea why I felt so awkward. Anyway I get to the self serve checkout and it has an issue so the woman had to come over to sort the till out and it was my neighbour. So she saw me buying the test but didn't say anything. Then I go to walk out the shop and the bloody thing sets the alarms off so the male security guard has to rifle through my bags to check what's setting it off takes it out the bag and walks it to the customer service desk to remove the security tag and I'm plodding behind seriously feeling mortified. THEN when I get home and finally do that wee I've been holding in for 4 hours and I've taken all the packaging off the box I realise I've bought the rapid results test not the early test so I can't even do it yet anyway as AF isn't due until Saturday/Sunday. I knew i shouldn't have given in to temptation and just waited! Now I'm debating driving the 30 minutes back to the supermarket to buy the right test so I can do it in the morning. Argh!!
