Cone biopsy/Leep
I posted this in tbe TTC ground, with no activity, so I'm going to try here!
I had a cone biopsy/leep procedure done in march, which came back as high grade dysplasia. My dr said she is pretty confident she got it all but we will know for sure after my follow up pap in August. My husband and I want to start trying for baby #3 in August. Coincidentally, my appt is the same day my fertile window is to begin. Part of me says let's just go for it, regardless of results. (My initial abnormal pap was in September 2016, and I did not have the final biopsy to remove the abnormal cells, until march.) The other half of me says maybe we should wait for the results, which would mean getting pregnant in August would be out. I'm a nervous wreck about the whole situation, so I'm just looking to hear from women who were in any kind of similar situation.
My dr said she sees no reason why I wouldn't be able to have a normal pregnancy, should we be so lucky to conceive again, but did warn me of the potential risks that pregnancy after leep could pose.
