Peeling Nails?

Question

I've had a problem with my nails peeling for months on end now. I've tried every nail hardener there is to no avail. I just stopped biting my nails a few months ago after biting them for 23 years so I know that's he cause- but how do I fix it? 
A couple years ago I managed to stop biting for a few months and my nails were beautiful, no peeling or anything. So why now? Has anybody had this problem before and how do I fix it? 🤔

I misread this at first I thought you said peeing nails. Like it hurts to pee.

You may need to try vitamins. I know people who take prenatals for stronger nails. I cant think of the vitamin that helps with nails but im sure you can google it

I was going to put this picture with my last comment but I couldn't find it! Lol... My nails used to peel like crazy but now they grow long and strong as long as I have them polished. (there's a base coat on them in this picture, it was right before I painted them)

Never let your nails be naked! Wear polish always. When you are doing something that involves your hands being in water for an extended period of time, wear gloves (obviously not in the shower, that would be silly 😋) because what happens is water gets between the layers of your nails and it expands, which causes them to split! So, wearing polish and gloves prevents water from getting into those layers and will help keep them from peeling!

I read that title like "Peeing nails" I thought you were peeing nails or you were peeing on your nails.... but you should try vitamins
