Can a female guest wear white or cream to a wedding

My soon to be Mil bought cream to wear to my wedding and bought my fiancé's cousin a white dress. She got mad when I requested that they wear different colors because white is my color. Ps my wedding is tomorrow. Found out about the cream yesterday and white dress today
