Herpes...or nahh??

So I gave my BF a blow job last night. I didn't have any pimples near or around my lips. But today I got one right on the top of my lip. I've never known anyone with herpes or any symptoms, if any. Uhmmm, should I be worried????

I don't think pimples are a symptom. As long as it's not a blister or sore and doesn't itch, tingle, or burn you should be ok.

A cold sore appears as a clear bump (blister). Feels a lil odd at first and can be painful once it pops or is broken open.

I may be wrong cause I don't know really anything about it, but I would think with just about anything you can catch, even a cold you wouldn't have symptoms so quickly

It's just a pimple. Cold sores/fever blisters are extremely painful. It's starts off as a tingle and a warm sensation. As it grows, it blisters up and hurts constantly. It will eventually rupture, but you have to take care that the fluid doesn't get anywhere else on your lips or nose, because it will spread. Then comes the real pain. An open blisters on your lips is indescribable. It will eventually scab over and heal. The herpes virus for fever blisters runs in my family, not the same strain as genital herpes, but herpes none the less.
