Is dark urine part of pregnancy?

I do drink Pepsi, coke and tea but i drink water too. Im having a boy if that's has something to do with my urine and the doctor checks my urine at every doctor visit which turns out fine. He hasn't said anything about my urine color. It comes and goes through out the day like a amber color almost. I just hope i don't have a medical problem that i don't know of. I will be having a c section done next friday.

Dark urine, especially amber, is an indicator of dehydration. Your doctor nay not say anything because most people dont get enough water, but you really should cut back on soda and drink more water.

Im having a boy and my pee isnt dark. Probably just need to drink more water and less soda...

Sounds like you drink a ton of sugar. Id start drinking more water and less sugar. It will be much healthier for you and more importantly your baby..

I too am having a boy and have dark urine. An obvious sign of dehydration but could indicate something else. I drink 75% water and 25% Gatorade per dr instructions but still have colored urine with an interesting smell. Never have anything wrong when I visit the doctor.
