twins formula fed or breastfed?

Question

I hear breastfeeding is very stressful in the beginning with twins. I am going to try but want to know 
did you supplement? partially? fully?
what worked for you.

I made so much freaking milk, I had to freeze a bag couple times a day. The key was NOT water, Gatorade, weird herbs, essential oils or supplements but merely eating a lot of calories. The more calories I ate, the more milk I made.

I plan on trying. Im also attending some classes even though I've nursed before. I'm hoping to get with a good lactation consultant then so I can have a good resource. I just know that you have to do what's best for you and your family. If things are rough, there's no harm in supplementing. Good luck to you!!

I want to breastfeed, but I am trying to make peace with the possibility that I'll need to supplement. I really hope it'll work. Just don't want to be too hard on myself if it doesn't :)

I breastfed my twins for the first 8 weeks. I ended up stopping due to medical reasons on my end. I was so upset. I loved tandem feeding. Both my boys lactched and nurses just fine.

I'm wanting to breastfeed as well. I did for a year with my son but I've been watching YouTube videos, hopefully this will help out. I'm also looking into local breastfeeding classes. Good luck
