Glow data on wired magazine

I was a little disturbed to see data from the glow app in the sex issue of wired magazine.  Sure, it was collective data and not any single person's data, and yes I know by using the app,I am giving up the rights to my data. Is it wrong for me to think that my data was going to be used to help other people get pregnant? Instead, the data was used to show the sex positions that women on the app liked. How does everyone esle feel about this? What does glow feel about the use of the data?
