How many people have gotten twins with IVF?

How likely is it to get twins through IVF? Also has anyone done gender selection?

I didn't get twins but I did choose the gender of the embryo we transferred. We did PGS so we had the option to know genders. We got five healthy embryos and since it was an odd number I wanted to know the gender break down. We have two girls and three boys. Since it was my first transfer and I had no idea what would happen, i chose to transfer a boy since we had more boys. My husband wanted it to be a surprise. It worked and I'm now 19w with my son!

Hi! I'm 35 and we implanted 2 embryos for the second FET. I became part of the 1% for the clinic and 10 weeks pregnant with twins. I didn't do gender selection but it would be great to have a boy and a girl! I am praying that they stick around.

I was told by my doctor that it's a 25% chance of twins when implanting 2 eggs

Twins depends on your age.  At 37, I was given a 40% of twins with transferring two embryos.  I did 2 fresh and 2 frozen only to end up with one baby.  I wish I would have done gender selection!  It was another $1250.
