TMI bowel movements?

For those of you who have already had children and experienced this, how long after either having loose bowel movement or feeling the need to go but not being able to did you go into labor? The last two days I've been having 3-4 bowel movements a day compared to my normal 1 every day or two and they have been loose and then last night I started feeling like I had to go, but got nothing and same thing this morning now. But no contractions or cramps of any kind. I also felt really nauseous last night for a few hours. Just wondering others experiences and of it could be a good sign that labor is much nearer than I think?
