Is it normal to get your period twice a month when on birth control?

I this is the second time I got my period this month. My periods are two weeks apart. I'm taking the pill and have been on it for awhile now. This is the first time I've had my period twice a month since I started BC again.

Talk to your OBGYN. Mine had told me when that happens that I can take two pills at once.
