My parents said we are going to the river today and I really want to go!! Its the end of my period (last day) and its super light. My mom doesn't let me wear tampons so should I be ok swimming in the river without one??

I would wear a tampon. That's really unsanitary to be swimming in a river with other people why you're bleeding down there.  Water slows it down, but it doesn't stop it. I'm not going to tell you what to do because everyone has different preferences, but I would just wear a tampon or not go.

I feel you. I’m going to breakers water park tomorrow with my boyfriend and our best friend and it’ll only be my 3rd day 😅 luckily I wear tampons but I’ve never gone swimming with one in or on my period in the first place.
