understanding maternity leave
if someone can please help me clarify things i would appreciate it.
i've completed my FMLA paperwork and submitted them however my employer haven't told me much, i understand i am to use my sick and vacation time up, i've also put in a claim for short term disability. after my sick and vacation time do i get paid from fmla or disability? am i able to apply for disability through my state? and there is bonding time leave, is that paid or unpaid leave? Edit: I've asked my manager and she said I only get 60%, but when i tried to ask HR i didn't get a a full answer just that i'm eligible to use all my time. I was told different by some and some moms said differently that had recently had left on maternity leave, some mention to apply for temporary disability through the state. 😓 #clueless
