My last few cycles I have had 2-3 days of spotting before my flow actually starts. I am 36 with one baby and in all my life this has never happened.

Maybe the night before I would spot and then my period would start the next morning but nothing like this.

What does it mean? Could something cause this change?

It is very frustrating because it just drags out the start of my period and leaves me confused about what is going on.

This last time I even became convinced that I was pregnant because it reminded me of the implantation bleeding I had with my first (we aren't TTC again yet right now but I wouldn't mind).

Any ideas?
