Ovulation test, is this from LH surge?

This is my first ovulation test after 9 months TTC, my period ended two days ago, is this really the beginning to a positive test or is this a negative?

Ovulation tests always have two lines.when both lines are the same darkness that is your surge.

Negative :) it needs to be as dark or darker than the test line

It is negative until the surge line is darker than the control line, so this one is negative. I just started using them this month and mine look like this everytime, I always have a faint line even when I'm not ovulating.
