😕🤔Im at a loss here. And can't get baby into Dr until tue (his reg Dr isn't there on Mondays) so wanted to ask some other mamas what they'd do in my situation.

So, liam is 12 weeks today. He would take 3-4 oz a feed at just 2-3+ weeks old

But that's all changed. The last week and ESP the last 4 days he isn't wanting to eat his whole bottle. Sometimes barley half.

Example: going from bedtime, bc that's his best feeding of the day)

-eats at 9pm'ish. Usually 4-6oz then Bed.

Was waking to eat at 5-6am for the last 8 weeks, but within last week is waking at 3am again.

Eats 3.5-4oz at middle night feed (whether 3 or 5am)

**Then......when he wakes for the day (around 7-8am) he doesn't want to eat much. He cries to eat, but doesn't eat for long. Usually 2oz or 2.5oz if I'm persistent.

then he will just smile and play with the nipple.

If we really TRY HARD to get him to eat more, he ends up wearing more of it. Crying, turning his head, and Pushing it away. There's no feeding this child unless he REALLLLY wants it. And THEN, he doesn't eat as much as he should. (Compared to how much he was eating) up to 30oz a day at just 7 weeks old!

So....After the failed "first morning bottle" ill try to offer another bottle an hr or so later, thinking he's gotta be hungry now. Usually he takes none of it or just half an oz.

Then it's naptime around 10.

We wake from a nap.

He will take some of his bottle. But not 4oz. It's like he's just not hungry!

Last evening after 3.5 hrs after a feed he took 5.5oz and I was so happy! Until he refused his next feed 3 hrs later. And it took an hr to get 2.5oz in him

Wondering if he would eat better if we did every 3.5-4 hours (unless he requests a feed sooner)

He was 11lbs 8oz when weighed 3-4 weeks ago.

(he's on zantac for silent reflux) it does help. This issue doesn't seem related to that, bc he's not crying when he refuses his feedings or during them, unless we try to get him to keep eating..

What is going on!

I've never had a baby that didn't eat when it was time to eat!

Any tips? Advice? Insight? Mama is losing her mind over Here counting oz's and trying to get this little guy to eat more! I'm praying it's a phase of some sorts. He ate more in a day when he was 3 weeks old!!!!

Here is his feeding log:

Last night- 10:00pm- 5oz

4:15am- 4.0oz (night feed)

8:30am- 3.25oz

11:32am- 1.5oz

And right now.. ..he fell asleep at 12:30 and idk if I should wake him now to eat (since his last feed was just a bit over 1oz) or wait until 2:30/until he "requests" it.
