How far would you go to be employed?

I've been searching since March and still haven't had anything come up, so I thought this'd be an interesting topic.

I have switched states twice to further my career in a way I felt was best for me. So about 1,000 miles twice.

i live in a small town where positions are very limited because there are not very many schools, and teachers are one of the higher paying jobs so if i didn't have a steady job now and didn't have any luck finding one, i probably would move anywhere to be able to have a job. best of luck to you, i hope you find something!

Unfortunately I had to move in order to be employed. The area I grew up in doesn't have much except fast food restaurants. I had to move about 4 hours away from my parents to a mid size city.

Do you have a very specific occupation you're trying to get into? If I needed the money and weren't employed I would definitely go for pretty much anything because it could always be temporary.

I am an accountant. If I could not find work on my own, I would work with a recruiter. Depending on the money, I would be willing to relocate. At this point, I am not willing to commute more than an hour away.
