For all the Mama's with boys!

Ladies, my little boy is 11 months old and honestly he hasn't been very cuddly since he was a tiny baby. He doesn't like when I hold him or when I try to hug him etc...he's to busy, he wants to be free and explore haha. Is this a boys thing? Or just a phase?
