Should I wait to start telling everyone?

My mom would definitely be okay. She loves babies! Everyone else will disown me (the ones who haven't already). I'm white. He is black. Sometimes it causes problems. But we love each other. His mom is dying from stage 4 lung cancer. I think she would have more hope. More fight. But so so so many people will loooooose their tops! And I am just now pregnant.  The stress of telling them is not good for the baby. Maybe in a month or two?

Personally, I would tell people that will be supportive like both of your mothers. It might give his mother some hope to hold on longer. You don't need the stress of telling negative people. As a RN I've seen people, including my aunt, hold on longer than doctors thought they would if they are fighting for something. It just depends on the person. Good luck & prayers.

Maybe tell the few people that you know will be supportive (your mothers etc) and ask them to keep it quiet. No one else needs to know for quite a while.

Why would it bother people? I understand where you're coning from though. My husband and I got married at 20 while he was in the army, and had our first baby at 22/23. People make rude comments sometimes (I'm white and he's filipino)

Eh it will all come out eventually. Midest well give his momma a reason to fight. Unless you're meaning you're wanting to wait to after the 1st trimester to be sure everything is okay.
