So Tuesday of this week (it is Sunday now, so in just a couple of days) I will be getting the mirena iud put in. I got the Skyla last October but had to get it taken out a few weeks ago because it feel out of my uterus and into my cervix causing me really bad pains. I was prescribed Misoprostol to take an hour prior to my insertion this time which didn't happen last time. I looked it up and found out that this is an abortion drug? This has me quite a bit worried about this insertion and the pain I may be going through. If any of you have gotten mirena I would really appreciate your experiences in the hopes that they will help calm me down!!
