So, I was diagnosed with PCOS a few years ago and I've been on Metformin since. Recently my gynecologist prescribed progesterone and then clomid and sent me to the fertility doc. I'm currently in the testing phase, but it's been suggested that some of my symptoms don't all seem to line up with PCOS. (It's confirmed through ultrasounds and blood work that I definitely have PCOS). But, they think some of my other symptoms sound like endometriosis and the doctor will discuss it with me at the follow up appointment on the 31st. On top of that, my blood work says my vitamin D is low (even though I eat well and take vitamins), my ultrasound shows the clomid caused two very large cysts on my right ovary, and my HSG shows my left Fallopian tube is blocked. I feel like the more tests the more things are wrong with me! Frustrating, but I am someone that likes to be prepared with questions and information to make sure I approach it in the right way. If anyone has experience with this, I would love suggestions, thoughts, questions for the follow up appointment coming up. Thanks!
