Ok so not a huge problem, my fiancé gave me an engagement ring last Christmas but didn't really ask me if I would marry him we had spoken about it he gave me the ring and said let's get married and I said ok unfortunately a one of the halo diamonds fell out so he took it back promising to get me a new ring, so I went a choose a beautiful ring yesterday it's been ordered in my tiny size it will be back in a week and a half and I suggested putting some thought into a romantic proposal you know fancy restaurant or use something I like to make it special he said he would but the dinner is less than 2 weeks away and so far he has zero plans made absolutely no effort to make it special I wouldn't even care if he asked me without the fancy dinner while we were just at home in our pjs watching a movie all I ask is a little effort to make it special how do I encourage him to make it special without nagging him or outright telling him it needs to be special ever since I was little I imagined the man I married would propose sweetly using something I like (at the time it was silly childish things) I mean if I proposed to him I'd use his fave computer game using my dads knowledge of making computer games I'd have him put a glitch message in the game but instead of an error message it would be a proposal, maybe I'm just asking to much for it to be romantic or sweet instead of like an everyday conversation
