Hey ladies, have any of you tried using patches as a birth control method?

What can you say about it? I'm trying to look for a different kind of birth control method. I'm currently in a ldr and will be visiting my boyfriend in like 2 months.

I loved it when I used the patch. The reason I stopped using them is that I developed a reaction to them. The first couple patches worked great. Then they started itching. On #6 or 7, I ended up with a square shaped welt/rash (on my ass cheek) and a scar that lasted a couple months. Even though I loved not having to remember taking my pill daily, my skin didn't like whatever stuck to me. I couldn't continue using them.

I did and it burned the hell out of my skin. I had square shaped areas anywhere I put a patch and you're supposed to rotate them. I think adhesive they use is overly powerful and many women are allergic or have a reaction to it. Other than that, it works.

I didn't like the patch. It didn't stay on as long as it was supposed to. One patch only lasted me a couple days before falling off when it's supposed to last a week. It also left a rash where the patch was and I had a rectangular red spot where the patch was for a couple of months. The idea of it is great, but the actual thing was not.
