Do you use a kick counter?

I'm 35w and never used a kick counter because he moves a lot. If I don't feel him move for a while then I'll try it but he has lazy days. Anybody else in the same boat?

Nah I don't worry about counting kicks. I think sometimes it just breeds more anxiety.

Yeah I don't. My doctor said I should just feel at least 4 movements in the morning/4 in the afternoon/4 in the evening/4 and night. So I can just count that in my head but usually don't need to because it's obvious she moves/kicks way more often than that.

When you get closer to your due date they run out of space so kicks are less!  I only felt my daughter her and there!  I wouldn't worry unless you don't feel any movement!

I will definitely be using a kick counter. My daughter was stillborn at 38wks and a kick counter could have saved her life. I wasn't told by my doctor how crucial it could be and I didn't have proof that my daughter's movements had significantly reduced. She was still technically making her kick counts so the doctor said there was nothing to worry about. The doctor was wrong.

With my first I did with my second I should have cause he stopped moving at 38wks and I had to get induced to get him out. He was fine thank god but with this baby I'll count. I don't want the same thing to happen again.
