Can you get prehnant taking metformin?

I assume you can. But I'm just wondering since i have pcos.

yes metformin can help regulate periods by reducing the size and severity of overy cycts and uterine fibroids and kick starting normal hormone rhythms.  i am diabetic. i was prescribed metformin 500mg. within 2 months i was pregnant. i am 41 years old and have a history of cycts and fibroids. oddly i was able to get pregnant at age 40 after 6 months of trying. i never knew i had type 2 diabetes until my baby was 3 months old. started metfirmin and 2 months later i was pregnant. yes metfirmin works.  i had it prescribed for diabetes but it works in smaller dosages for infertile couples where her cycles are off and if she has some growths on or in ovaries and uterus.
