Lactating but I'm not pregnant?!

Question

I was pregnant a few weeks back and I had to terminate due to medical reasons. The abortion was about 3 weeks ago and 2 days ago my bf and I were just fooling around and he noticed I was lactating.

I don't know if this is a normal thing. Anyone ever had this happen? Or does any one know if this is something to get checked out? Also I am on birth control, Depo shot, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

This happened to me. It was about three weeks after an abortion and I was just leaking all over my shirt. I had more issues after but it did happen too me. Ever since then I have an occasional clear fluid from my left nipple. I think after an abortion your body is still going through hormone changes.

It's normal after having a pregnancy. I miscarried a couple of weeks ago and just noticed I was lactating a bit for the last couple of days. It's due to changes in your hormones.
