Question

So I've been getting the shot because I can't take birth control pills because they make me so sick I have to be hospitalized. The shot has made me gain over 50 lbs and I just can't loose it and my doctor said it would be a good idea for me to stop taking the shot. So I was looking into the iud and it really scares me. What's your thoughts on it? Or other forms of birth control that are good??

I had an iud and had to have it out after 4 months... it was recommended to keep it in for 6 months but due to the constant cramping that was affecting my work (I was constantly calling in sick because the cramps were that painful I couldn't even get out of bed) I spoke to my doctor and they took it out that day for me. I've gone back to the implant and I love it!

I have an iud and I absolutely love it! It hasn't given me any problems! And I only had light cramps for the first day I got it off and on

I've heard it also makes your period super heavy and sex painful.

I have an IUD and love it! I cramped for a day after getting it, spotted every so often, but then all went back to normal

I had mine for 3 years and really liked it. It gave me pretty bad acne for the first 6 months and I gained like 10 lbs but it was definitely worth it!
