Spotting for a week

My period ended about a week ago and I've been spotting every single day since then. And it's really worrying me but I'm too afraid to go to a doctor and making it all a reality. It's been 2 weeks now including my period.. maybe a little more. Does anyone know what's going on?? Or have ever experienced this before??
