Suggestions for Fertility? PCOS & TTC

Question

Recently found out I have PCOS and my Gynecologist didn't inform me! Been TTC for 2 months now. But I don't ovulate. Anyone taken any fertility drugs or anything? Need suggestions.

If you consume dairy.. stop! It's HORRIBLE for your PCOS. Milk contains natural hormones (cause it's from a lactating animal, for a baby...) and it messes with yours. You should be on a low carb, low GI diet. Plenty of veggies and fiber. Take your weight and divide it in 2.. that's how many ounces of water you need in a day. 
GO FOR WALKS! You need exercise! Just not too much because that will also fuck up your hormones.

I'm in the same boat. Just was diagnosed with PCOS about a month ago after not having periods for a few months. I just did a round of Provera to induce AF. I had bloodwork on day 3 to see if I have ovarian reserve aka enough eggs. Now I have to have more blood drawn on day 21 to see if I ovulate on my own. 
If I don't ovulate, we do the same process but add clomid. If I still don't ovulate, we do it again with either a higher dose of clomid or femara. 
Talk to your doctor about a plan. My doctor is very honest and very proactive, and I love it.

Try taking royal jelly, during your menses. Drink apple cider vinegar and water 1tsp in 8oz. Daily after meals.  I had luck reversing mine doing this as well as drinking kamboocha. 
Royal jelly has hormones and nutrition that is meant to support the reproductive system. It's what allows queen bees to reproduce their entire lives and live 7x longer.
Kamboocha and apple cider vinegar regularly will help aid digestion and allow max absorption of nutrition while reducing inflammation. 
Although this will treat and reverse symptoms. It is something you will have to maintain during your child baring years because they can come back. While currently it's unclear as to why this happens, I do believe it has a lot to do with what you eat and no matter what it is the actual lack of quality even found in organic foods.
My cousin had a cyst that had been growing since she was a baby, which contained bone and hair.  While something like that is an obvious need for surgery the above treatment wouldn't reverse that. But may prevent reoccurrence.  
I am not a doctor, but this was home remedies and lots of research I have personally done. When my pcos got so bad I was diagnosed with ovarian failure.
Even after all of that, I got pregnant and reversed the symptoms stopping more damage from reoccurring.
While this worked for me, everyone is different, but if you are desperate enough there is no harm in trying. My results were a surprise when the doctor said they couldn't find anything wrong 6 months later.

I also have PCOS and I started on Metformin 1500 mg almost 2 months ago, if nothing happens soon my doctor will prescribe Chlomid! But I'm really hopeful, it's not impossible to get pregnant... you will be fine! But definitely see your obgyn and let them know you are trying to conceive and inquire about the steps you need to take! I've read that some women with lean pcos (you don't carry extra weight) do really well with metformin!

I have PCOS too.  In most cases, your doctor will make you try for at least 1 year before prescribing ovulation medications like Clomid and Femara.  I would suggest trying OPKS, monitoring your CM, and charting your BBT in the mean time, if you aren't already.  If you're overweight, try exercising and changing up your diet (avoid carbs and sweets) in an effort to lose some weight.  Your doctor can also prescribe Metformin for you, which is not an ovulation medication, but is frequently used for PCOS to help with insulin-resistance and weight loss, among other things.  Good luck!

I took Letrozole by itself and it did nothing for me. When I did the combo of Letrozole, Gonal-f, and Ovidrel I conceived twins on the first try. I have PCOS and don't ovulate on my own. I had to see a fertility specialist to get the meds I needed though.
