Due date baby!! FTM
July 2, 2017 at 10:30 pm my water broke. At midnight, we were checking into the hospital with no contractions. About 1 pm July 3, they started the Pitocin IV. Around 5 pm, I received a Pethidone injection for pain and by 10 pm I was receiving an epidural. Around midnight, I was having such painful contractions that Drs decided to put fluid back into me to help relieve some of the pressure and was being told to move my positions from left to right side since the baby's heart rate would drop to about 80-90 bpm with each contraction. At 5 am July 4, Drs decided an emergency c section was in the me and the baby's best interest. At 5:30 am my son, Xander-Wolf Auguste Hilario was born! He made the record at that particular hospital for number of times the cord was wrapped around his neck (4x). When I heard his first cry, I was so relieved and it brought tears to my eyes. They brought him over to me and I gave him some kisses and then him and his Daddy went to the nursery for weighing while Mommy got stitched up and sent off to recovery for an hour.
I never truly understood what other women meant by they felt their life changed and they never loved another quite as much as their own children until now. He makes me happy; Makes me want to be a better person; Makes me want to grow up and not be scared of life and the changes that happen the older I get. He the one thing in my life that I've created that has significance and has brought meaning to my life and I can't thank him or his Daddy enough. My two men make me feel on top of the world and I'll cherish them forever. 💙🐺
