We had planned on having a home birth (which insurance does not cover), but my mom can no longer watch our daughter for the summer so that I can work and save for the birth and staying home after baby's here.

Basically, we now financially have no choice but to switch to a hospital birth our insurance will cover. I have to tell me Midwife tomorrow and I'm so bummed because I adore her and really wanted a natural birth away from all the fuss and interventions of the hospital.

Has anyone else had to switch providers this late and/or had success with a hospital birth free of a million interventions? I'm trying to feel better about my entire birth plan falling apart!
