Help with ovulation kits?

So I started AF on June 2nd and it's wrapping up today very light if anything. When do I use the ovulation kits? I have never used one, and since it's only month 2 of ttc should I just monitor bbt and cm? And save a kit for later if needed?

I didn't start using kits until this month after 7 months of ttc, it can't harm to try them I have brought a big pack from online as they seemed the best ones I could find for ok money x
