Shower on your period

Hi my name is bianca and I'm 13.

Can we have a shower on our period, if not how we keep from smelling and keep clean and if yes dose period stop in showers or dose it keep dropping (you know what I mean by dropping). Sorry for the spam. I'm just new to the whole period thing. Iv only had it 4 times lol.
