When do i seek a Pediatrician

Im 34 weeks pregnant and have 6 weeks left. When do i find a Pediatrician for our baby and how do i go about doing it?

I am 34+5 and I met our pediatrician last week. It was such a relief to meet him and he had tons of information and advice so the timing really was perfect. I would say to do it now :) the peace of mind is worth it!

I'm 33 weeks and I met with mine last week. I did it early in case I didn't want to go with that doctor so I would have enough time to talk to others as well. I found her from a recommendation but also googled her name and looked at reviews. I'm sure you will find a great one

Found mine at 34 weeks. I researched local pediatrician a then went to their websites and looked up reviews, once I found one I liked I went in last week to fill out paperwork and they have a meet and greet scheduled for me to meet the dr this Friday. Then their policy is to see the baby within 48 hours of birth.

I don't think there's any harm in you trying to find a pediatrician now. I've asked this question before on here before and it seems like a lot of women started around 33 -34 weeks to look for a dr. Contact your insurance to look for a pediatrician and then try to do your own research on those pediatricians online (reviews, etc). Once you find one you like, call their office and ask them any questions you may have. Good luck!
