I fOund this on glow but who has actually researched this themselves? I was told by my physician having sex daily could cause sperm count to drop. She said it was best to have sex every other day.

It depends on your husbands sperm count, if it's high then you can do it as much as you want. If it's low best leave him to "recharge"

I can't find the article I read. I remember it was written by a fertility specialist. But it did say go for it every day.  Yes the amount of sperm is reduced but not the quality if it. After all, it only takes one! 
After 7 months of every other day, we did every day and then:BFP! So, it worked for us.

I have an appt to have my husband's sperm count checked next week, hoping for good news. I do remember  reading somewhere that it's best to have sex every other day while in your fertile period but that have even though having sex every day would decrease the amount if sperm on a second day it was worth it if that second day landed on your ovulation day. I'm not sure where i read this so i can't say if it was a reliable source or not but it makes sense to me.

Listen to your doctor. They've gone to school for many years and know what they are talking about. My doctor told me the same thing yours did. Every other day so there's is actually sperm to ejaculate to make that baby. :-) good luck!

Having sex every other day gives a 37% chance success rate. Having sex every day slightly lowers that chance to 33%.
