Cheating in the Medical Field Study

Back in my Anatomy and Physiology 2 class, a subject came up about cheating for a scholarship for med school. The question was:

"If someone has cheated several times during/on the way to med school and gets a huge scholarship, while you have worked very hard, but didn't make quite high enough grades for it compared to the winner, would you tell a dean about the cheating? If caught the person loses the scholarship, gets kicked out of med school, and has a huge mark on their college record. You would be next to get the scholarship if he/she loses it."

For added: The person comes from a rough and low-income background. This would benefit their family to be a doctor.

Answer honestly and be open minded please. BE KIND TO EACH OTHER.

Personally, I would tell someone. There are lives at stake. No matter the previous hardship of a potential doctor.
